All i can say is, it's disturbing how a lot of Singaporeans are feeling such inexplicable outrage against the government. Of course i know of a lot of people rooting the opposition for sound reasons, but i can't say so for the rest - the bulk of the rest are just plain ridiculous. Are you really that worse off where you are now from 5 years ago? Or have you woke up one day with a dire sense of responsibility to vindicate your fellow Singaporeans in all the supposed righteousness you haven't been feeling so strongly about until now?

It's very simple, if i already dislike you, all it takes is a few persons to badmouth you further and i'll be thoroughly convinced. and that's how the situation is now.

the most ridiculous arguments against the govt:

(1) too many ERPs

Joke of the day: you can afford your downpayment, petrol and the newly tzenged rims and ridiculously high spoilers but you cannot afford ERP.

What other seamless solutions do you have then for traffic congestions we have been swearing about?

(2) Too much foreign workers in Sg

You want less foreign workers in Singapore but you hire maids at home to look after your kids and do your laundry? Why? your mother-in-law don't wana help you? local helpers too expensive?

ummm, what about construction work and cleaning jobs? because there are just so many singaporeans willing to work in these industries with low skills and wages...

oorrh... okay okay... i totally see where you people are coming from, but my eyes just can't roll further.

If i have the time, i'd rather invest on a good read:

maybe then you can focus on something more constructive than blaming the world for your circumstance.

Anyways, on a happier note... just one and half days more to BLISS again!!! yayness TTM.

hmmm lemme see, there are also more important things like shopping for a nice outfit for Rachel's wedding this Sunday, finding a nice mama's day gift for momsy and finishing the last episode of Dream High with bee bee dearest, and the list goes on...
